The Mazda MX5

It's the most successful roadster out there. You all know it, most of you love it (it's ok, you can admit it), and above all, it's one of the most amusing cars you will ever drive. But it's a hairdressers car, right ? Well, I guess it could be driven by a hairdresser, but as an exclusive professional mode of transportation ? No, not really. You see, contrary to popular opinion, the MX-5 or Eunos Roadster in its imported form, is a cracking way of getting from A to B. In fact it's so good, you'll often find yourself going via C, D, E and probably F as well.

It also makes for a pretty handy race car!

Running a MaX5 car

Most of MaX5 drivers look after their own cars both at circuit and back at home, however not all drivers are accomplished mechanics. With this in mind some of the MaX5 teams will supply services ranging from minimal paddock support through to arrive and drive packages, where the car is brought to and from the circuit and is fully maintained by the team. This allows anybody with no mechanical knowledge to race in the championship, making sure the racing is based on driving ability and nothing else.

MaX5 Racing  have been working very closely with manufacturers, specifically safety manufactures We as an organization are very safety conscious & are very aware of driver safety. The Vehicle is based upon the original MX5 road car. However the body shell, the engine transmission  must all remain totally standard (As per factory).
